Plainfield, NJ – Residents living in two apartment buildings in PlainfieldĀ  New Jersey have been thrown out into the street—with no warning.

On Tuesday, City officials posted condemnation notices at the buildings located on West Seventh Street, and the other building on Arlington Avenue.

The notices say “building structures have been declared unfit for human habitation.”

Plainfield Mayor Adrian Mapp saysĀ  “The landlord is heartless and uncaring about his tenants, and is driven by greed and profits.

Many residents have already used theirĀ  hard earned dollars to pay the August rent.
