(New York, NY) — Lionsgate has been getting busy, acquiring Entertainment One’s Tv and Film operations from Hasbro for a reported $500 million.
This comes four years after Hasbro announced they were buying eOne for nearly four-billion-dollars. The sale includes a content library of almost 65-hundred titles including “Peaky Blinders,” “The Walking Dead,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and more.
Hasbro will retain the rights to its popular brands like “Peppa Pig,” “Transformers” and “My Little Pony.” The deal is expected to close by the end of this year.
