(New York, NY) — Striking actors will take to Times Square for a major rally today. Unionized actors have been on strike since July 14th. They joined unionized writers who have been on the picket line since May. Actors and writers are demanding they receive residual payments from streaming services and protections from AI. The entertainment industry has come to a grinding halt.
