Long Island Serial Killings
(Massapequa Park, NY) — The search for evidence in the Gilgo beach murders have expanded to South Carolina, where suspect Rex Heuermann had a home and to Las Vegas. In Massapequa Park, detectives continue to search through the 59-year-old’s home. The married father of two, who is behind bars has been speaking with his jailers about the case. He has not had any visitors and has been spending large amounts of the day lying down.
Suffolk County Police Chief Rodney Harrison believes Heuermann’s wife and adult daughter had no idea what he was up to. That as neighbors say they are overwhelmed by the media and gawkers that continue to show up outside Heuermann’s home.
