(New York, NY) — A road rage incident turned deadly on the Upper East Side Wednesday afternoon. A pick-up truck driver, and a man with his family in Volkswagen got into some kind of argument along East 60th Street. Eyewitnesses say the man in the truck got a knife out and slashed two tires on the car. Then when he walked to the front of the car, the Volkswagen driver stepped on the gas, slamming the truck driver into a wall, killing him. The street was crowded with eyewitnesses. The driver remained on the scene and was questioned by cops. Eyewitnesses say he acted in self defense with his kids in his car. The District Attorney’s Office will determine if the driver will be charged.
