UPDATE: Is it Safe to Swim at NY Beaches?

WEST HAVEN BEACH

(New York, NewYork) — 77 WABC’s Michael Lamorte spoke with Tony Dutzik of Environment America regarding the recent study that  revealed fecal matter has severely  contaminated NY beaches. The study revealed more than half of New York State beaches were contaminated with human feces from sewage overflows after rainstorms. Enough exposure to contaminated water can lead to numerous health issues.
