FBI Director to Testify Before House Judiciary

whitehouse

(Washington, DC) — Tension is rising over in D.C. as FBI Director Christopher Wray will testify before the House Judiciary by Wednesday.

Wray will appear before a number of Republicans who have been criticizing the Justice Department in recent years. The GOP has accused the Bureau of being weaponized against conservatives after the recent indictment of President Trump, along with a lack of investigation into the Biden family “corruption.”

The committee holding the hearing will be chaired by Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan, who like other republicans, deeply criticized the FBI. Specifically, Jordan called the Bureau out on its failure in investigating the Hunter Biden case.

As Chairman, Jordan has subpoenaed the FBI director for documents that explore domestic violence extremism in Catholic Churches, along with documents covering local school board meetings.

The hearing will take place July 12, after Congress returns from its July 4 recess.
