(New York, NY) — “Threads,” Meta’s competitor to Twitter, is now live. The text-based social networking app allows Instagram users to post short updates, links, pictures and videos. The new service, launched a day early in Apple’s App Store. Threads looks similar to Twitter, allowing users to post messages, as well as respond to them.
