Virus Outbreak NYC Paramedic Ride Along
(Mamakating, NY) — Lighting never strikes the same place twice, right? Well one New York Resident begs to differ. For the second time in less than two weeks a man has been struck by lightning in Sullivan County. The construction worker was on the job for the Fourth of July when he was suddenly struck by lightning while holding a metal pole. Authorities say he went into cardiac arrest, but EMS was able to restart his heart on the way to the hospital.
This comes after a Woodbourne firefighter survived a lightning strike June 26th in the near area.
