Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
(New York, NY) – It’s a return to the top of the North American box office for Indiana Jones. But it may not be enough to make the big budget action flick a financial success. The latest (and final) installment in the Harrison Ford-led franchise pulled in $60 million over the weekend. That said, its budget is reported to be between $250 and $300 million.
Titled “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” the film features Ford in live action, as well as CGI-aided “flashback” scenes. Critics seem to rank it higher than the fourth Indiana Jones film, “Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” (2008). Part of the latest film takes place in New York City, as Jones is a professor at Hunter College.
