Daniel Penny
(New York, NY) – Earlier this week, former Marine Daniel Penny plead not guilty to charges of manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide. This is after he was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury for the May 1 death of Jordan Neely. The New York City Medical Examiner’s office determined Neely died as the result of a chokehold. Penny admits to restraining the man, but says he only did so because Neely was being threatening to other riders.
On “Sid and Friends in the Morning,” Penny’s defense attorney Thomas Kenniff provided an update on the case.
