(New York, NY) – PepsiCo is a giant in the world of beverages and snack foods. Sipping on an ice cold Pepsi cola is a rite of summer for some. And it’s certainly been a constant option at ballparks around the country for decades. Now, not only can you have some Pepsi with your hot dog or hamburger – you can actually put Pepsi on those foods – well, sort of.

On July 4th, Pepsi is introducing its first-ever condiment, at select MLB ballparks across the country. The New York Yankees are in on this partnership, meaning fans heading out to the stadium for Independence Day will be able to sample “Pepsi Colachup.” It was created by the Culinary Institute of America alongside PepsiCo. The Arizona Diamondbacks, Detroit Tigers, and Minnesota Twins are also offering the intriguing product. In a statement, the Purchase, New York based conglomerate says “Pepsi Colachup” combines the traditional tomato ketchup flavor with the “sweet, citrusy taste” of Pepsi cola.
