(New York, NY) — Tuesday was Primary Day here in the City. One of the winners last night was one of the exonerated “Central Park Five,”. Yusef Salaam sailed to an easy victory in the Democratic primary for a seat representing central Harlem. One big upset as of late last night. City Councilman Charles Barron was in second place in the Democratic primary for Brooklyn’s District 42. Both incumbent Democrat district attorneys, Melinda Katz in Queens and Darcel Clark in the Bronx, won easily last night.
