(New York, NY)  — A Canadian airplane searching for the missing Titanic-bound sub says it detected “banging” sounds Tuesday, in 30 minutes intervals in the area where the vessel went missing.  The New York Air National Guard’s 106th Rescue Wing, based in Westhampton has been part of the large team searching for the tourist sub that suddenly stop communications on Sunday.  The oxygen supply on the vessel is expected to run out on Thursday. Five people, including a 19-year-old are onboard.
