(Washington, D.C.) — Last night the House passed a bipartisan bill that would suspend the nation’s debt ceiling for two more years. Lawmakers voted 314-117 on the measure that includes non-defense spending cuts and policy provisions. It now moves to the Senate. The deadline to avoid a potential U.S default is just days away.
