(New York, NY) – President Biden fell at the Air Force Academy’s graduation ceremony today. The Commander in Chief had just delivered the commencement address and was congratulating some graduates when it happened. Biden was immediately helped to his feet by several people standing nearby. He did not appear to have hit his head, falling to his knees. The President then pointed to the stage, and the New York Post reports he may have tripped over a sandbag.
People in the crowd were clapping and cheering at the time, but an audible gasp then went up as the 80-year-old Biden fell to his knees. He took his seat on stage afterward. A White House pool reporter Biden appeared to be “ok” later.
