(Elizabeth, NJ) — A human leg and then a torso have washed ashore in Elizabeth New Jersey over the last two weeks. The body parts were found in the Arthur Kill waterway five days apart. Police are unsure if they are from the same person. The medical examiner says the torso was a Caucasian male. They do not have an identity. The Union County Prosecutor’s Office says they are doing testing on the body parts.
