If you like family, secret agents, and cars literally defying the laws of physics, you are going to love this review.
‘Fast X’ is the tenth film in the Fast and Furious franchise. You may think to yourself “how can they keep outdoing themselves in order to have new movies?” and the answer to that is simply to have more. More characters, more action, more explosions, and more cars.
Out of all the characters included in this film, including (Spoiler Alert) several returning roles from previous films, the obvious star of the show was Jason Momoa. His character, Dante, was so much fun to watch throughout this lengthy 2.5 hour movie. I don’t know if he was just given a script and told to run with it, but I’d watch this movie again in the future just to laugh and enjoy that performance.
The way I try to enjoy these films are simply yo suspend my reality and just enjoy them for what they are. Someone once told me to think of them in the same way as Marvel movies, and it truthfully makes the experience that much more fun to watch.
This movie is in theaters only right now, but I’m sure it will find its way to a streaming service in a few months. At this point, it just depends on how big of a fan you are of the series.
