(New York, NY) – As part of WABC’s “What To Do This Weekend” series, we’ve got something in mind for television fans. No, we don’t mean just kicking back and binge watching a new series (although that works too). In this case, we’re talking about die hard fans of the Netflix sci-fi horror-themed show Stranger Things – and the ability to check out Stranger Sings! The Parody Musical – on Off-Broadway here in NYC.

Maggie Alleva, Kathy Wu, Ricky Fernandez, and Kevin Landry of WABC’s video team produced that video. The play features non-stop action with two-hours of music and comedy. It’s playing at the Playhouse 46 at St. Luke’s in Hell’s Kitchen, located at 308 West 46th Street. Critics have described it as a “good-natured musical parody.”

The intimate Playhouse 46 seats just 175 people, and fans of the show will immediately feel as though they’ve traveled back to the 1980s and the fictional rural town of Hawkins, Indiana. Will Byers – whose disappearance is central to the plot of Stranger Things – is represented by a puppet in the hands of his frantic mother Joyce.
