(New York, NY) – Cops are on the hunt for whoever was behind the wheel last night when a four-year-old girl was killed in a Newark hit-and-run. It happened along Sixth Avenue West, near North 9th Street. First responders focused on a spot along the pavement where a child’s backpack and shoe could be seen. A second child and an adult were also reportedly hurt, but suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Residents say reckless driving is common on Sixth Avenue West, adding more stop signs or a traffic light are needed.
