Brooklyn, NY (77WABC)-Three teenagers are charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Nyheem Wright of 3608 Neptune Ave. in Brooklyn .
Police were called to the vicinity of 3001 Mermaid Avenue on Friday, January 20, 2022 at approximately 3:21 in the afternoon on a report of a man stabbed.
EMS transported Wright to Maimonides Medical Center in critical condition after he was stabbed in his torso.
Wright died of his injuries the next day.
A 13-year-old male is charged with murder in connection with Wright’s death. A 15-year-old male and a 14-year-old male are both charged with gang assault and two counts each of assault.
The three teenagers were arrested and charged Sunday, Jan. 29th at 11:45 pm.
