BRONX-(77WABC) Three firefighters and a civilian were treated for injuries Thursday night after a fire tore through an apartment building in the Bronx
The fire started just after 5 p.m. at 4055 Carpenter Avenue in the Wakefield section –growing to four alarms.
Flames could be seen shooting through the roof of the building. Hundreds of fire fighters responding to the scene. The Red Cross was on the scene assisting the homeless.
The cause of the fire is under investigation
