Harlem, NY (77WABC)- Police say 15-year-old Corde Scott returned home from school Monday afternoon to the family’s apartment at 1447 Doris Street becoming involved in an argument with his 28-year-old stepfather.
The argument turned physical.
Police responded to a 911 call of an aided, unconscious male inside apartment #2B at 6:18 pm.
EMS transported Corde to NYC Health & Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators say the teenager sustained trauma to the neck area.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
