BROOKLYN, N.Y. (77WABC) — A 29-year-old who’d agreed to sell a set of power tools was robbed and beaten by two suspects, one claiming to be a police officer, when he met up with two potential buyers at 21st Avenue and 83rd Street to complete the transaction.
During the afternoon of December 11th, 2022 the two purported buyers met with the man selling the tools .The NYPD says one of the two potential buyers claimed to be a police officer and began to punch the seller before fleeing with the power tools.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene.
