NEW YORK (77WABC) — A Winter storm which has been pounding the plains states and the mid west is moving into the tri-state area.
Mixed precipitation beginning Thursday morning in areas North and West could make for a treacherous commute on the roads. Any ice and snow in New York City and along the coast turns over to rain.
Areas far North and West beyond the I -287 corridor could possibly see six inches or more of snow. Forecasters say the storm will last into Friday — with strong wind gusts.
