New York, NY (77WABC)- A man was shot in his head and killed outside of the Fulton Houses on Sunday night at approximately 9:34 pm.
Police from the 10th Precinct responded to a 911 call of an unconscious man in front of 400 West 17 Street. The found a 44-year-old man, unconscious and unresponsive, in front of the location with a gunshot wound to his head.
EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals Bellevue, where he pronounced dead.
There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
Police say the identity of the man is pending family notification.
