SECAUCUS, N.J. (77WABC) — Rt. 3 eastbound between the Meadowland Parkway and Paterson Plank Road was closed for an accident investigation just before 2 a.m. involving a dump truck.
Police say the main line of Rt. 3 is reopened. The accident investigation continues on the Service Road affecting the area between Paterson Plank Road and the N.J. Turnpike Eastern Spur.
All traffic had been diverted at Meadowlands Parkway during the complete closure. The accident happened before 2 am according to Secaucus Police.
Details of the accident have not yet been released.
