Pittsburgh Pirates v Cincinnati Reds
(77WABC) — Pete Rose is begging for forgiveness and wants to be admitted to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Rose is asking MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred to let him in the Hall of Fame. Rose bet on baseball games during his playing and managerial career with the Cincinnati Reds and was slapped with a life time ban from baseball.
In a letter to Manfred obtained by TMZ, Rose said he has apologized many times for betting on baseball games while managing the Cincinnati Reds. Rose said he’s sorry for the hurt he caused the people he loves and respects.
The ban makes Rose ineligible for the Hall of Fame.
