TRENTON, N.J. (77WABC) — The FBI says it has received credible information about a widespread threat to synagogues across New Jersey.
The FBI has not detailed the nature of the threat. The Newark office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation tweeted out that security precaution on Thursday afternoon.
It says all synagogues and communities connected to them should take precautions. They plan to release more information about the nature of the threat soon.
