NEW YORK (77WABC) — Community leaders grabbed buckets of paint and brushes for the annual line painting Wednesday at the NYC Marathon finish line in Central Park.
The marathon was canceled for the past two years due to the COVID pandemic, however this years marathon will feature a full slate of runners. 50,000 runners are expected to take part in the race which runs through all five boroughs.
The forecast Sunday calls for above seasonal temperatures approaching at least 70 degrees.
