(New York, NY) — New York Attorney General Letitia James has turned down an offer to debate her GOP challenger Michael Henry before election day. NY1 was ready to host the two candidates in a debate on Wednesday night, but the James campaign told the cable news network that she would not take part. James is the only statewide candidate who has refused to debate her opponent. Henry says James refusal to debate is a threat to Democracy.
