Video: Man Suspected in Unprovoked Subway Shove in Queens

QUEENS, N.Y. (77WABC) — Police have released a photo and video surveillance of a man wanted in connection with an unprovoked shove of a 32-year-old onto subway tracks at the Wyckoff Avenue and Myrtle Avenue subway station.

The victim was standing on the northbound platform and intentionally without being provoked was charged at and pushed onto the subway tracks on Friday, October 21 at 2:40 in the afternoon.

The  man was not struck by a train but did sustain physical injuries as a result of this assault. The suspect fled on foot.

Surveillance photo and video showing the male moments before he charges at the victim and after the incident jumping over the turnstile are attached.
