LONG ISLAND, N.Y. (77 WABC) — A 13-year-old is facing charges for making a threat against a Suffolk County school.
Police say the student accessed social media and threatened to shoot teachers and students at Copiague Middle School if classes were held Monday. A parent contacted school officials who called police.
Investigators say a threatening call was also made to the district’s high school. The student was arrested at the school and charged with making a terroristic threat.
