NEW YORK (77WABC) —  A new poll shows the race for governor in New York is just too close to call.

A Survey USA poll has Governor Kathy Hochul with just a six point lead over her Republican challenger, Long Island Congressman Lee Zeldin. In a similar Survey USA poll done in August, Hochul had a 24 point lead.

The survey finds Hochul with a solid 25 point lead with female voters in New York,  but Congressman Zeldin leads with men by 13 points over Hochul.
