WASHINGTON (77WABC) — The Supreme Court is being asked to block the Biden administration’s student loan debt relief program.
A group in Wisconsin known as the Brown County Taxpayers Association filed a lawsuit Wednesday requesting President Biden’s plan to cancel up to $20,000 dollars in student debt for millions of borrowers be suspended while the court considers the matter.
Applications for the the student loan forgiveness program expected to be activated possibly by this weekend.
