NEW YORK (77 WABC) — Police say a teenage school paraprofessional was shot in the head at the end of the school day Tuesday afternoon in Brooklyn.
The 19-year-old victim works at PS 203. Investigators say he was walking near Avenue M and Utica Avenue in Flatlands when he was shot just before 3 p.m. outside a deli.
Police say a gunman fired four shots, striking the teenager once in the head. No words were reportedly were said between the two before the gunman opened fire.
Witnesses say the gunman was wearing a black and red ski mask, then fled the scene in a Lexus. The victim taken to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition.
There are no arrests as of yet.
