  1. I always wanted to start the day with laughter and you gave me that gift with Imus, Charles, Lou, Bo and of course have enjoyed the hilarity with Sid. It’s like being in the pub with ‘the boys’ and have loved Bernie for being genuine. Blessings to Sid and Bernie’s families. Thank you for sharing Bernie.

  2. My sympathies to the McGuirk family and to his pal Sid. It was a sad day when I heard Bernie had passed. It was so much fun to wake up to the team.. He will be missed. Good Luck Sid.. Bernie will be with you..

  3. My heart breaks for your family, your WABC family and for Sid who was like a brother to you. I never had the pleasure of meeting you in person but you touched my life and so many others. Bernie was incredibly knowledgeable about so many things. I learned a lot from him. We will miss you dearly Bernie. God bless you Rest In Peace

  4. May God bring Bernard home to find unending peace and love. I prayed for him at mass this morning. May God bless his family and friends in this difficult time.

  5. My heart is hurting…I was hoping for a miracle..but instead we have a new angel to watch over all of us..May God help his family, Sid Rosenberg, all his co workers and friends thru this time. Please keep lighting the candles..Bernie’s light is now far greater as He is with Jesus..

  6. My condolences to Bernie’s family and the entire WABC family. Have been a listener since the early Imus days. Bernie was always entertaining and right on the issues facing America’s today. He was a true legend and will be missed

  7. I first started listening to Bernie & Sid just as background noise to get me through my mornings at work. I had no idea who they were and the history. I heard these 2 voices that I thought were just 2 old men yakking away. I didn’t even know which one was Bernie and which one was Sid. When the Covid hysteria began in 2020 I started listening on the app and had it on at work while I was working from home. It made things feel ‘normal’. Then I was able to turn up the volume and started paying attention. I listened while I went for my morning walks. No I can’t stop listening! One of favorite parts is when Bernie would sing over the lyrics on the bumper music. Please play some of those clips. Especially the one of him singing over Mama said knock you out by LL Cool J!

  8. May the good lord bless and keep your family members as they mourn your untimely loss. I will miss not hearing you live in the mornings as I travel in my car to work. I work as a safety officer in a school and I find that you were such an inspiration for me before I would set foot into the building. It was was such pleasure listening to you and you partner “ go at it”. I will certainly also miss your fun and laughter. You were certainly a special person to ordinary people who appreciated you. My deepest condolences to your home and radio family.

  9. Listening in almost every day for the last 2+ years from home in San Antonio, Texas, Sid and Bernie in the Morning was a big part of my day. Bernie impressed me so much as a man larger than life. I will miss his character, his voice, his wit, and his immense intellect. I loved Beat Bernie as I tried to beat him; most often losing. My prayers and condolences go out to Carol and family and I pray that Bernie is already in Heaven smiling down on Sid and the entire WABC family urging all of you to mourn briefly and remember forever. God Bless You, Bernie!

  10. I’m merely a fan and a listener and I feel like I lost a close friend. I can’t imagine the loss all of you all must feel. 💔

  11. I remember Bernie from the Imus show but I feel even since listening to him on the Bernie & Sid show a brotherly relationship was formed without even personally knowing him.
I have more sad emotions from his passing than the passing of my own family members. He will be sorely missed!
My condolences to his family at home and at work.

  12. May the road rise up to meet you – may the wind be always at your back – may the rains fall gently upon your fields and may the sun shine warmly upon your face – and until we meet again – may God hold you in the palm of His hand. Rest in peace Bernie – you will be dearly missed.

    1. A light went out. My mornings will be changed. You made me laugh! You amazed me with your vast knowledge! My sympathy to Carol and children. So so sorry for your loss. Sid, my sympathy for your loss of such a “brother”. Rest In Peace, Bernie!

I loved you both with Imus and teaming w/ Sid. I can’t even tell you how many times I was in the car laughing my ass off to your Cardinal O’Connor impression reading the lottery. What I liked most about you was your quick wit, intelligence and seemed like a great guy I’d want to hand around. Thanks for making a difference. Goodbye for now

  15. I was totally shocked when I went on the internet and learned that Bernie passed away.

My condolences to his family, John Catsamatidis and especially Sid.

I always enjoyed "Beat Bernie" He rarely if ever lost! God Bless Bernie and his family.

  16. Bernie seemed like such a humble and sweet guy. I spoke to him on the radio 2 times. During one of the calls, he took the time to tell me he was sorry my son had Autism. We didn’t know each other but I could hear the sincerity in his voice. It really touched me. I still can’t believe he is gone. He was so strong and such a fighter. It is obvious from all the messages, calls, stories, tributes, etc. that Bernie was a very special person who impacted so many people’s lives. Although he didn’t know all of us, listeners/fans, we all feel like we knew him to some extent from listening to him for soooo many years in the radio! I am truly heartbroken over his passing. My condolences go out to his family, friends, co-workers, and the other listeners, and fans. The world lost a truly wonderful, funny, smart, and kind man! I think i will miss the Beat Bernie segment the most. Bernie was super smart and so humble during those segments. He will be missed so much! Sending hugs and prayers to Sid! May God give him the strength to come back and continue on after this tremendous loss! God Bless Bernie and may he RIP! We will hear Bernie again in Heaven! ❤️❤️😭😭

I have enjoyed Bernie’s humor and insights since his Imus days and his regular appearances on O’Reilly. For the last several years, I have listened to Bernie and Sid every weekday morning via the app. I like staying in touch with NY, the best big city in the world, and I appreciate the direct and truth-centered opinions of Bernie and Sid. I never had the privilege of meeting Bernie, but it still feels like I have lost a good friend. Many prayers for Bernie’s family and his colleagues at 77WABC. 28. Bernie ; You were the best !! Funny, witty, brilliant, and a no-nonsense conservative who spoke my language. You will be so missed !! First Limbaugh, and now you. A huge blow to the conservative voices in this nation. God always takes the good one early. My heart is filled with sadness with your death. Bless you and your family, and you are now at God’s side chasing all those Liberals away.

I loved his comedy bits and skits when he was bickering with and being picked on by Don Imus.

Dear Bernie, I am very sad that I will not hear your voice on the radio anymore, but I will think of you often and remember your voice when you played characters such as "the Cardinal" as well as when you were simply stating your opinion on issues. You brought facts and truth to light and always presented your thoughts in a brilliant and yet entertaining way. Your legacy will live on through all of the people you have touched and enlightened. As we say in church, "May your memory be eternal". Condolences and blessings to your family, friends, colleagues, and fans!

He told it like it was without worrying about being politically correct and as such, said what many in his audience were already thinking, but in a concise and humorous way. He also gave us lots of new food for thought. I will surely miss him. My condolences to his family and team mates at WABC.
