I was honored to be in Bernie’s company a few times-twice when I was part of the comedian line-up at the Bernie & Sid Comedy Night in 2018 & 2019 and the twice when I was invited on their show. Bernie was so gracious and when he spoke to you, you had his full attention, I believe that is why he was so brilliant, he was able to focus and absorb. His opinions, with or without humor, were succinct and factual. We lost a great voice in radio, he will be enormously missed. Thank you Bernie, for making me a little bit smarter. May His Memory Be Eternal. Ellen Karis
Started listening and watching Bernie on IMUS in the Morning. I live in Colorado and would wake up at 4am just to watch/listen to them. Thanks for all the laughs and prayers for his family.
Bernie, RIP
My condolences to Bernie’s family. A wonderful person who will be missed has left us.

Obviously, Bernie- you two legged bag of anthrax, bejesus.
While all four could be found in the Bronx, Bernie is the only one that isn’t a box of rocks.
Let us pray.
For Bernie to pull some strings with the real “Bug Guy” upstairs and save us from the blue hair folks; we want the most.
Bernie was a joy to hear on the radio. I truly loved listening to him on the show. My condolences to Bernie’s family, his ABC family, and of course his dear friend Sid Rosenberg. Bernie will be missed. He will be guiding Sid from Heaven as the show continues. God Bless Him!
I’m a registered democrat and I truly enjoyed listening Mr. McGuirk’s political opinion because the I found them to be reasonable, understandable, and not overly right sided. I was hoping the best would come out of his situation. May he enjoy his next big adventure in the unknown universe.
God bless Bernard McGuik because God blessed us with him
RIP till we meet again
Brother Bernie,
I have never met you, but you and Sid were my heartfelt Brothers. Of course I cried for you, because it is written to mourn with those who mourn. I know for a fact, by faith, we will both be with the heavenlies. You are at peace now. God bless us All……until we meet. For eternity. Love you. Thanks for always being an arms length away.
The day came that I dreaded hearing since you were missing. Bernie the voice of truth justice and what should be the American way.. You’ve gone to a better place RIP..😪
Bernard will be dearly missed by all his fans. Every day when I turn the radio to either 66 or 77 I learned something new.
God bless Bernard & the McGuirk family. Bernard was such a big part of my mornings for many years going back to Imus in the Morning. Funny guy with a brilliant mind. He thought like I did when it came to the present state of our country. A real patriot.

Bernie is now in the company of the Archangel Gabriel- the patron saint of radio announcers.
Bernie was the very best who had his origins in the Bronx.
A terrible loss for his listeners.
RIP Bernard
Bernie to me is a legend and worked his way through hard times to achieve his success. He is a true role model and legend. Great insight, timely humor and true love for his fellow New Yorkers.
He was truly the voice of the people. I want to send my condolences to his family and especially Sid for losing his partner at WABC and his friend… God Bless
What will we do without Bernie?

I have listened to Bernie and Sid from day one and Imus before that. Also saw Bernie on Bill O’Reilly. I loved Bernie. Through difficult surgeries and Covid isolation Bernie and Sid were badly needed company. They became family. How I will miss Bernie!
Condolences to the McGuirk family.
So sorry. His voice will travel through space for an eternity
Bernie was an American success story. A common sense guy of humble means from the streets of NYC who made it big. He had guts, brains and know-how to fight the fight using a golden microphone to counter the elite and woke crowd. Via the powerful airways at WABC, he was a champion to uphold the freedoms that America’s founders and others gave their blood for – – – he understood history. Bernie understood the "big picture" of the dark marxist clouds America is facing today and spoke up. Thank you Bernard McGuirk for your bravery, humor and fighting the fight on our behalf. You were a wonderful person who loved his wife, family and America.
I have been waking up to Bernie & Sid since they started. Bernie was a true genius and will be hard to replace. My heart goes out to his family and Sid.

Prayers of peace for Bernie’s family, Sid, and all who loved him. And Curtis did an outstanding job yesterday, very comforting.
I was so sad to hear of Bernie’s passing. I have been a fan from the Imus days.

Long time listener, never a caller. We never met, but I feel like I lost a close friend. Radio is an intimate form of communication. You were one of the best. Loved your sense of humor and your New York sensibilities. You and Sid influenced my thinking politically. I miss your presence. I heard Sid and Bo’s emotional heartfelt words, and shed a few tears myself. My condolences to your family, and your radio family and audience.
Condolences to all who loved Bernard. I listened to him on the radio for so many years. He was the most magical blend of humility, hilarity and brilliance. I’m so saddened. Mornings will never, ever be the same.
Every morning at 6:00 I start listening the show at WABC. I will miss Bernie. May He rest in peace. I drive a taxi in NYC starting everyday around 5:00 AM. Most of the day with WABC. Sorry for this lost. My sympathy to his immediate family and to the WABC Radio family. All of us are orphans now. Jose.
Heartfelt condolences to the Mcguirk family and all of Bernie’s friends. I listened to Imus on the radio and followed the show on tv for years but it was Bernie who was memorable. He spoke with clear intelligence, a unique twist of humor and he understood my thoughts. I felt as if I knew him and that he knew me. After Imus died Bernie was gone too and then I found him in New York along with Frank Morano who I also enjoy listening to. Selfishly I am angry he didn’t take better care of himself. I am deeply moved by how many feel the same way as I do. As a conservative who has watched with despair the changes in this country it was Bernard who kept me hopeful. I felt less alone and believed he could lift us all up.
To Sid, I can’t imagine how tough this is for you. Thank you for helping us all along the way. G-d Bless
Thank you so much for being there for me every morning and teaching me so much.your wisdom is infinite.I feel like I know you personally even though we never met.R.I.P MY FRIEND.IM SURE YOU HAVE A NICE PLACE IN HEAVEN.BECAUSE YOU CERTAINLY BELONG THERE.MY HEART FELT SORROW AND MY PRAYERS TO YOUR FAMILY..YOU WILL BE FOREVER MISSED.THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER TO TAKE YOUR PLACE..
I am heartbroken… Bernie was funny and smart. Sid and Bernie had great Chemistry, Two witty guys from NYC. It made my commute bearable even when I had to drive from Long Island to Central Jersey at the crack of Dawn. As an Irish Catholic born in raised in NYC/ Long Island. I am really going to miss Bernie.
Heartfelt condolences to the Mcguirk family. I listened to Imus on the radio and followed the show on tv for years but it was Bernie who was memorable. He spoke with clear intelligence, a unique twist of humor and he understood my thoughts. I felt as if I knew him. Bernie and Sid in the morning have been one of my favorite radio shows. Bernie was an amazing guy. He had a great personality, he was a very decent human being, and he was very smart. I will miss Bernie, and I will never forget him.
The news that Bernie had succumbed to prostate cancer has saddened me greatly. Bernie put up a brave fight against cancer, as was his nature. Now he is in heaven, where he will no longer suffer. RIP, Bernie!
My heartfelt condolences go out to his wife, his family, his friends, and his co-workers.
Deepest Condolences to all of Bernards family and friends. He will truly be missed. May he rest in eternal peace.
I am an avid listener of 770 radio, but only a few years ago discovered The Bernie and Sid Show. I quickly became a huge fan of Bernard. I always appreciated his insight to news of the day. It was amazing how in sync I was with his thoughts and beliefs. I wish I had “known” him longer. I don’t think he will ever be forgotten and certainly never be replaced. My deepest condolences to his family and the lucky ones that counted Bernard as a friend.
I am so sorry. I enjoyed Bernie when he was with Imus in The Morning. He was so funny as Cardinal O’Connor. He will be so missed. He always brought humor to the show but he was also an extremely bright man and it showed in his Beat Bernie Contests. I will keep his family in my prayers. Heaven claimed a very humorous man.
REST IN PARADISE BROTHER… I AM COMPLETELY CRUSHED…. My condolences to his family….
Devastated to hear of Bernie’s death. I would put on the radio every morning with the hope that he would be well enough to be back on the air. These last few years with Covid and all the other craziness in the world It was always such a comfort hearing Bernie’s perspective. He was just so smart and funny. He will be so missed.
My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
A statue for Bernie is in order, we will miss you
