  1. I’ve listened to Bernie and Sid since Imus 1986.
One of the highlights of my life was the cameo my law firm set up with Sid. I only wish I could have had another cameo with Bernie.
Our deepest condolences to the 77WABC family and friends. And of course to Bernie’s beloved family.

  27. Ah man, mornings will just not be the same. McGuirk was one of a kind. I started listening to him on Imus and continued to do so and loved it even more when he and Sidney took over. Legit, they were the best morning show in the US. I know more about NY happenings than I know about my home here in NC. I will say a prayer for Carol and the kids, the staff of WABC, and a special prayer for Sid. Thank you Mr Catz for giving us such special individuals on WABC.

  28. Bernie,

  35. The world lost a great person and, although I never met him, i will mourn for him as if I did. I will forever remember his honesty and integrity that you could feel over the radiowaves. His impersonations were great as well (i.e. the Cardinal). Prayers to his whole family. God Bless
