BROOKLYN, NY (77WABC) — Police have announced the arrest of 25-year-old Damon Clemmons of 1576 Saint John’s Place in Brooklyn in Friday’s stabbing death of another Brooklyn man during the early morning hours of Friday, May 13th.
Clemmons is charged with murder and manslaughter in the stabbing death of Samer Abdalla of 70 Battery Ave. Apt. #3 in Brooklyn. Police found Abdalla with stab wounds to his torso around 1:27 in the morning at the intersection of West 4th Street and 6th Avenue.
Abdalla was involved in a dispute with a group of men who fled the location on foot before they arrived on scene. EMS rushed Abdalla to NYC Health & Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say the murder weapon was not discovered at the scene of the stabbing.
There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
