NEW YORK (77WABC) — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who flagged down an MTA bus #9784 and unprovoked pepper sprayed the bus driver in his eyes and mouth.
The NYPD says the 35-year-old bus driver suffered burning and irritation. He was taken by EMS to Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center for treatment.
Police say the man who pepper sprayed the bus driver fled to on a bike westbound on West 162nd Street. The assault took place at 9:30 in the morning on Thursday, September 15th in the vicinity of West 162 Street and Edgecombe Avenue.
