NEW YORK (77WABC) — At least five more buses filled with migrants arrived in New York City Tuesday.
Some of those migrants will be sent to Orchard Beach in the Bronx, where a tent city has been set up to house them. City Hall says the tent city will be used as a processing center for migrants.
They claim most will stay in the tents, sleeping on cots for four days before they are put into the city’s shelter system. The heated tents will be able to house around 1,000 people.
