Barking Riverside rail extension

(New York, NY) — Former New York City Transit President Andy Byford is coming back to the United States after a short stint as the head of the subway system in London. Byford, who is English ran the New York city subway system for a little more than two years. He was a favorite with riders, who lovingly nicknamed him “Train Daddy”. It’s unclear if Byford has accepted a new job in the U.S., but he did tell reporters in the U.K. that he would like to resume his life in America with his wife.
