FILE-San-Gennaro-Festival
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -(77WABC)- The annual Feast of San Gennaro is underway in New York City’s Little Italy. You can’t miss the bright lights, music, cannoli, zeppole and meatball-eating contests that stretch for eleven blocks. The joyous festival dates back to the 1920s as a way for Italian immigrants to keep their Neapolitan heritage alive.
The event draws a million people a year running through next weekend.
