(New York, New York -77 (WABC) — New York City workers are under pressure to get back to the office.
Mayor Adams wants everyone back as Covid 19 cases continue to level off. Adams was asked about last week’s council meeting where law makers talked about lack of remote work options possibly hurting the city’s hiring efforts. He says low income earners like crossing guards and waitresses can’t work from home, so having higher income office workers stay home is not acceptable, and not going to happen while he is mayor.
Adams says you can’t be going clubbing on Sunday, and not come into the office on Monday.
