NEW JERSEY-(77WABC)-Looking to save money on your back to school shopping?
New Jersey’s planning a back-to-school sales tax holiday. The tax break includes – -basic school supplies – laptops – and -athletic equipment.
Starting Saturday, families won’t have to pay tax the six and a half percent tax on items – through September 5th.
The tax break applies for both online and in-store sales.
Clothing and shoes are already exempt from sales tax in New Jersey.
