NEW JERSEY -(77 WABC)- New Jersey schools are facing a bus driver shortage as the school year is about to begin. Kojo Redd of Klarr Transport Services in Lakewood, N.J. says they’re hoping to get more drivers behind the wheel as soon as possible.
Statewide there are hundreds of bus driver openings. Klarr Transport Services the competition with trucking companies and others is fierce, despite a signing bonus with the school bus company.
