MLB: New York Mets at Atlanta Braves
The NL East has been the best division in baseball with three teams expected to get over 90 wins. Even after losing their last two games against the Braves the Mets still sit at 75-42 and with the second best record in baseball. The Braves have now won eight in a row and are 72-46, and the Phillies sit at 65-51 and have been on fire ever since firing Joe Girardi earlier in the year. All three teams have a great starting rotation and that is a big reason why they have been so successful this year. The Mets are lead by the two best pitchers in baseball in Jacob deGrom and Max Scherzer ,the Phillies have Aaron Nola and Zack Wheeler who have pitched great this year, and the Braves have some good young starters in Max Fried, Spencer Strider, and Kyle Wright. The Mets currently lead the Braves by 3.5 games and have two more games left to play with them today and tomorrow. Philadelphia trails New York by 9.5 games but is currently fighting for a playoff spot. The Phillies have been playing really well under interim manager Rob Thomson. This will be a fun finish to the regular season between these three teams and I cant wait to see who comes out on top in the division.
