NEW YORK, NEW YORK -(77WABC)- Its going to be an exciting week for a group of boys on a Long Island little league team.
Massapequa is off to the little league World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania– after they’re a 4-0, no-hit victory on Friday over Toms River east.
This is the first time Massapequa has ever reached the series.
Massapequa’s first game is scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m televised on ESPN against the winner of a game between Bonney Lake, Wash., and Honolulu.
The Little League world series begins on Wednesday.
