The Dodgers keep rolling. Los Angeles has now won 10 in a row and 30 of their last 35 games in what has been a remarkable run. This is without two of their best pitchers in Clayton Kershaw and Walker Buehler. The Dodgers are a strong team that doesn’t really have any holes on their roster. They have a tremendous lineup that includes Trea Turner who they picked up last year, Freddie Freeman, Will Smith, Mookie Betts, and Chris Taylor who has struggled this year but who has been a solid utility man with the Dodgers for six years. Tony Gonsolin, Tyler Anderson, and Julio Urias have stepped in a big way in Kershaw and Buehler’s absence. Gonsolin is 13-1 with a 2.30 ERA, Tyler Anderson is also 13-1 but with a 2.72 ERA, and Julio Urias is 12-6 with a 2.49 ERA. This has contributed to the Dodgers having the best record in baseball at 77-33. Los Angeles will be tough to beat come playoff time.
